Job Summary
The Head of Tax is responsible for tax reporting to tax authorities and Sberbank of Russia and for the set-up of control over tax calculation and reporting processes. He/she acts as key contact on tax topics for tax advisors and tax authorities, as well as for management and shareholder. He/she continuously monitors tax risks and develops tax methodologies. The Head of Tax also manages a small team and supervises tax projects. Interested? Read on! You will be working within a great team and supporting them in their daily activities and projects.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Key contact for regulatory tax questions
Tax methodology: monitoring of changes in the tax law, coordination with external tax advisor and driving respective implementation (e.g. organization of workshops)
Tax risk management: review of consolidated quarterly reporting results and ensuring compliance with the ultimate risk level
Tax transfer pricing including responsibility for methodologies, discussions of SLAs with subsidiaries
Coordination of the tax review process for new agreements and products
Review of monthly and quarterly tax calculations and reports, review of specific calculations for assessment of taxes and for IFRS
Review of annual declarations for VAT and income tax and communication with the tax advisor and tax inspection
Supervising the development of system requirements, continuous improvement of the tax reporting process with Accounting and Operations
Actively leading and further developing your team


Your Profile

Master's degree in Economics or Law
Minimum 7 years of experience in Tax, preferably in banking or tax management within financial institutions
General know how on: taxation of banking products, general corporate taxation, taxation on capital markets, international tax matter and transfer pricing principles and documentation; practical implementation of tax regulations into banking processes; accounting principles and reporting standards, especially in banking; awareness of valuation principles
Language requirements: upper intermediary English, fluent German (reading and speaking skills), understanding and use of legal language
Advanced analytical skills in taxation area; good Excel skills

Annual gross salary starting from EUR 45.317 based on our collective bargaining agreement (for 38,5 hours/week) - additional payment according to skills and experience. The position can be filled as soon as possible.
